A little tongue in cheek, but quite a good attempt at explaining some of the power that now exists in America. Power of course, does not always depend upon money, unless those with money make it all powerful! Mortmain, or the dead hand was a problem for Henry VIII and the French Louis. Abolishing the power of corporations to exist beyond say 99 years would answer some needs!
