The USA war machine requires oil. Jest cannot use nuclear fuel plants, unlike a CVN.
They also, no coincidence, control oil distribution. They have also mapped the earth via satellite, many times. They know where the oil is and that it is not a fossil fuel, it has an abiotic origin.
When Septics pay $5 tax a gallon I will believe that oil is in short supply.
