Learning of life

I recall being a child. I was very concerned about the adult world. It seemed so complicated. Adults were so slow, yet they knew so much. They had so many things to do.

So life was a long process of decoding what people were doing. What they said, the way they said it. As I learned more, I judged more. The words, the accent and then, what they did not say.

Our interior world reflects, we hope our external world. It seldom does, as we never become adept at deciphering the lies and half truths used to conceal weakness and intention.

Some of us learn to dissemble and lie to protect our feelings, not fully understanding that bullying is a sign of weakness. The weakness of hidden feelings can become crippling unless we construct other personalities or modes of expression and use them.

How do clouds attain a flat bottom? They float upon a charge layer that is self insulating.
